Holy shit...!
You just dig the hole deeper and deeper...
Strike ONE.
Mainframe??? Maybe Moore's law and the advancement of microprocessor power
and PCs (NOT Apple) had something to do with it - and Apple didn't do squat.
Strike TWO
Traditional print industry - ever heard of the Internet? And no, Apple didn't invent it, nor
does this NeXT BS you spew play into this. Credit DARPA, T B-L, etc. The call stands....
Fly ball foul..
Killed CDs?? How do you figure this. Again, Internet and PtoP. Are you going to now
claim that PtoP is somehow Apple's credit also? Nope sorry - that won't fly...
STRIKE THREE!!!
And then there is this utter nonsense about TV and phones.
Apple TV?? Looks like kind of a flop so far to me.
Oxford the fanboy has STRUCK OUT (again)

Ah, Apple created the entire industry of PC's... they killed the
mainframe from popular nomenclature. Sure, Mainframes are still around
doing boring transactional processing, but Apple produces more
processing power by lunchtime than IBM does in a week.

Yes, and during this time, Printers claimed the Internet / Web is a
"fad"... Think about it. Apple / SJ created the foundation of the Web
which knocked out many a printer, and the LaserWriter a decade before
wiped out many more. Sure, DARPA had helped, but only Apple and SJ's
vision brought it to that masses... nobody else could have pulled that
off.

Go look at Tower Records, Go look at ANY CD Store... they are EMPTY all
because of Napster and the iPod. Yes, P2P is one of the deep roots of
this change, BitTorrent was created by a Mac guy, now look at it!
The whole P2P trend was created when Apple was still weak, but Apple was
the one that made MP3 players and managing large libraries useful
through iTunes. Everyone else simply sang their song.

The AppleTV is wonderful, a modern revolution in how to watch streamed
content. You don't have one - so are jealous. But someday you will! So
hang on tight!

What? I've never been a fanboy. I'm just an honest scribe of the history
of computing.

Did it occur to you guys responding to "Oxford" that he's a troll and
enjoys writing his BS and watching your responses to it?

Arguing with someone on the Internet is like running in the Special
Olympics. Even if you win you're still retarded.

You are nothing BUT a fanboy. A blind delusional one at that.
The worst kind.
There has been NOTHING "honest" I have seen from you yet.
You have yet to prove a SINGLE thing with actual fact. ZERO!!
Maybe you actually believe the drivel you spew.
But a cretin believing in something doesn't make it reality.
