All of a sudden my 710 is sick.. When powered up it will flash the
Moto screen for about a second, go blank for a few seconds then flash
the Moto screen again; etc. I pulled the battery for an hour and tried
again; same result. Anybody have any ideas or is it just toast???

TIA

Try a different battery. Might also be a bad board.

When you plug it into the charger, does the little battery indicator flash
at you to show you it's actually charging?

If so, I'd get a new battery. http://www.batteriesplus.com has great ones,
cheaper.

Even if plugged in, the battery can cause a problem. But i strongly suspect
a bad board.

Actually am a retired type in a motor home sitting in Quartzsite, Az.
A little solar but have full hookups and am enjoying the winter away
from the snow of NY. At least that is what we tell people but it has
been cold here for the last few days.
