I have a phone which I power up says its number is xxx1234
I have cancelled that numbers plan.

Now I want to change my number to that phone..
the phone still says the same thing.. xxx1234

is that a problem? should it be reporting that?
seems like it has reception. I havent used it tho.

I just registered the new ESN for my number.
How long until it works? And will it override a
number already there..

After you change the ESN to the new phone, on the new phone dial *228,
and select Option 1 to get the correct settings on the phone.
