It doesn't work if the phone's PRL won't roam. Everyone should find a dead
hole in their coverage and test 911 access when the phones say NO SERVICE,
on whatever system and company they have. As soon as I find a dead zone on
Alltel, with service from other carriers, I'll be testing and reporting
whether it works or not, too.
Alltel in Charleston, SC, is 00156. There is no reference in VZW's 50295
to anything with 00156. So, would the phones look for anything not listed
in the PRL when it was in NO SERVICE mode?
