On AC1, I could (and did) make paid roaming calls on TDMA/AMPS carriers, in
areas where there was no CDMA network. On AC2, are these carriers still
available, or does Verizon only execute roaming agreements with CDMA/AMPS
carriers?
I understand that under AC2, there are more CDMA networks available without
paying for roaming, but no one has ever been able to answer whether or not
AC2 allows roaming on the AMPS part of TDMA/AMPS carriers, except for 911.
