Nokia has some great new CDMA phones and they have the best software in
wireless. Why doesn't Verizon bring in a few good phones. By the way
their service is going down also.

Nokia can't make a decent CDMA phone to save their lives. GSM they do
quite well in. CDMA on the other hand.....

The only good CDMA phones are Kyocera (Formerly Qualcomm).

....Not true.

Samsung is uneven... some of their handsets are wonderful, some suck... but
if you get a good one it will handle weak signals well and perform well in
other areas.

Motorola should still be able to hold just about any signal, but their fit
and finish has sucked for years. :(

Even Nokia makes CDMA phones that can complete calls quite reliably now...
they just still refuse to put anything approaching the latest technology
into those phones.

Of all the brands I have owned, Qualcomm, Denso, Motorola, Samsung,
Neopoint, Toshiba, only the Motorola was sub standard.

Gotta tell you, my "cheap" Kyocera kx1 is hands-down, markedly better in
peformance over my old Moto v60s.

v60s speakerphone was better, that's it.

This thing makes calls with no bars showing, never misses a call, and the
battery is equal or better (1.5 to 2 days). I'm very happy with it.

What are you talking about? I did not do any searches. I do not know
what h1b applications are. What jobs? Jobs that need to be run?
Projects that need to be completed? Employment positions that are
open?, have been filled?, doing what?, where?
If you are going to reply to me, please post so I do not have to scroll
to see what you have to say.

H1B visas are issued to IT workers coming in from abroad. Jgrove replies to
every post in every thread he participates in, with exactly the same
message: "Motorola and Lucent are outsourcing jobs to Asia."

While I agree that that sucks, he says it all the time, and uses threads
completely irrelevant to his point to jump in and complain.

He's a spammer, and a stupid one at that. I figure he did something stupid
and got fired from Lucent or Motorola, and now he's pissed and being an
XXXXXXX to the rest of us as a result.

That does not sound like outsourcing to me. Outsourcing would be
hiring a company over there or opening a branch of one of our companies
over there. Those workers are getting visas to come here to work. The
jobs are here. We just need to get our citizens educated enough to do
the job, and/or have our citizens willing to work for what we are paying
the visa worker.

Issuing H1B visas to workers that you then employ is not outsourcing.

However, it still takes jobs away from US workers.
