| Trying to decide between the E815 and the VX8000. Any words of wisdom?
Current phone is the VX4400 which has been a good and faithful tool but
is getting fairly beat up.

Since I am happy with my Samsung a610, I will be happy to offer you my
honest opinion.
The Motorola E815 has a more impressive battery life, has more memory
locations, Bluetooth and the buttons look more contoured.
So, even though I am not in the market to switch from my excellent Samsung
a610, for you Gary, I would recommend the Motorola E815 - that phone is the
hands-down winner and I have a strong feeling that you will not regret it.

| I upgraded from the 4400 to the 8000 and am very happy with it. Battery
life is excellent. Coverage has not been a problem, even in difficult
locations. The 8000 is a big phone, but I'm ok with that. I enjoy the
large screen size and the keyboard. So far the only complaint I have, a
minor one, is that you can't go to manner mode without opening the
clamshell.
