| I'd like to get the best deal on a new phone (money back, no start-up fees,
2 year plan) and don't know who online to trust. Do you have any sites to
recommend? Thanks in advance.

Do not forget to talk to VZ itself - no middleman's profit.

And if you have a problem you can go to the store and get a resolution.

| There is great value in buying your product from someone you can see or
trust. Your neighborhood vzw, or agent. I'd avoid the best buy/circuit
city because they traditionally don't have the ability to "really" help you
with bills or problems the way vzw or an agent can.
That said, I have an on-line store, but I'll never see that person, and they
won't get the same service that one has come to expect at my store(s). You
get what you pay for... the reason some of the on-line phones are less is
because they have little or no overhead; translate that to little or no
service. Same plan, cheaper phones, less service. Pick the one of your
choice. Inphonic seems to be the biggest, A1 wireless the worst. Me, I'm
somewhere in the middle. dr

Circuit City's VZW booth IS Verizon employees now, or it
certainly looks like it is. And it's not clear to me that your
local VZW store has any more interest in helping you because you
bought a phone from them. Now, if you are talking about a local
dealer, then you definitely have a point. Possibly even Rado
Shack as well.

Yeah so they just keep it for themselves, don't be foolish
enough to think that they pass it onto the customer. I saw much
better deals at Radio Shack and a local dealer today. And I was
looking for a low end phone, and the local VZW store didn't even
bother to have the LG VX3300 on display. I guess they want
people to buy more expensive phones that many people don't need,
just like they force them onto more expensive plans. RS had the
VX3300 on display, and it was free.

PS Amazon.com has some very nice deals on Verizon phones now..
many better than free after rebate.

Hi All!
I have had a bad experience with Circuit City. I have been making
posts in a HDTV massage board so I could get help with my Sony KP53HS10
repair. The first tech CC sent out was horrible. He ended up doing
more damage to my set than the original failure which was a D-board.
CC still has not fully fixed my set. They never preformed their
duties under the Extended Service Agreement I paid $399.99 for. If
you ever do buy a product from CC, please do not buy the Extended
Service Agreement. CC will not live up to their promises (contractual
obligations)! I wish I was warmed before I made my purchase. I am now
out $3,000 ($2599.99 + $399.99)!!!

I've learned my lesson the hard way! We, who have been wronged by
Circuit City, must get the truth out!!!

They are, actually. In both Circuity City locations I've seen, there's
usually been a Verizon wireless store within a few miles, and employees
from that store work the CC kiosks in shifts. Even saw one of them at a
kiosk one day, and the next he was at the Verizon store across the highway.
