Author yet another question--synchronization

Does a phone need to have bluetooth to synch with a PC?

You can tell I'm new at this.

How does a phone synch if it doesn't have Bluetooth? Specifically, the
Motorola 815. If I don't run the hack, can I still synch it via some sort
of cable?

And, also, do these phones synch with some sort of windows XP software, like
address book? Or Outlook? Or do I need to get a PDA phone to do that? Or
some sort of conversion program?

Or do they come with a CD and software that you load on your computer so
that you can set up an address book with a computer keyboard and transfer it
to the phone?

If you don't feel like answering any of these questions, but know of a web
site that does it in plain English, please help! Thanks.

website http://tinyurl.com/aqnuh (I've bought from them with no
problems) offers a package with a data cable and software to sync a
710. I've been researching the issue for my own 815 and would love to
hear other peoples' advice and experience on the matter too.
