| Are txt alerts paid for from my in-calling unlimited txt/pix package?
If not, what is the actual charge for them?

They would be considered "other" text messages if they are from places
like the Weather channel or Sports scores, stocks, etc. in my $5 plan I
have 50 "other" messages for free. Once I exceed those 50 its 10 cents a
message to receive.
If you exceed whatever allowance you paid for ($5=50, $10=250, $15=500)
then you will be charged accordingly, otherwise they are free.
You can call #3282 (#data) in most areas to get a running total of how
many "in" and "other" messages you have used in a billing cycle
