The short answer is YES!

I use my 128MB transflash all the time to transfer wallpaper and MP3 and
midi ringers to the phone, and to transfer any pictures and videos that I
take back to my PC.

I heard that a firmware update that they had for the V710 disabled the
transflash abilities, but since I never had my V710's firmware updated I
don't know if that's true or not.
