reprogramming my vx 4500

| Recently my phone started emitting three beeps right before connecting a
call. Does anyone know what could cause this? Would it be a good idea to
reprogram the phone and update the roaming info?

| Try fishing around in your menu options. I had the same thing with my 4400.
It was an option to play a sound when the call connected. Probably just
needs to be turned off.

| My LG VX6100 beeps when the call is connected if I have messages on my
voice mail that I haven't listened to. Not sure what the point of this
is supposed to be. It's annoying.

According to the info on my latest bill, VZW will no longer support this
"stutter tone" voice mail waiting notification after August 15th. I haven't
noticed if this is the case or not.
