"Driving Mode" LG4650

| I discovered a "driving mode" on the LG4650,
but I can find nothing in the manual explaining
what it does. I assume it's preset for handsfree
and ???? Can anyone tell me more?
Accessed by holding in the voice command button
while the phone is closed.

I no longer have an LG but as I recall, in driving mode with a hands
free, incoming calls will be annouced, by name if in our phone book,
and you can use a voice command to answer or not

For the announcment, at least, you don't even need the handsfree. The
phone will announce incoming calls through the speaker when it's in
driving mode, a fact I discovered accidentally. Whether a voice command
can be used to answer through the speaker/mic, I don't know.

The driving mode does the following two things:
(1) Puts the phone into the "Announce Mode"
(2) Turns on the Speaker
You can refer to your manual to understand the opration of these two
modes and then you'll have the whole story.
