I thought I'd post my benchmarks here ... anyone else?

These were done from zip 48310 to http://speedtest.umnet.umich.edu.

Six tests were done.

Low downstream = 470 kb/s
High downstream = 587 kb/s
Ave downstream = 535 kb/s
Low upstream = 110 kb/s
High upstream = 127 kb/s
Ave upstream = 121 kb/s

Peak burst rate = 767 kb/s

Who has the EDGE? :-)

Those speeds are much faster than my edge phone, thats for sure. I get
about 100k down. How much is the internet access for Verizon to tether
through a phone? I can only find a $60 plan on their website. That is a
considerable more amount than my $20/month unlimited EDGE plan.
