Author Forwarding email to Treo 600

I have a Treo 600 with Verizon. I went on the Website to try to sync my
work email to the Treo 600. It keeps saying it can't log on to my email
server. I was told by the IT person at work that it is a POP server and
he gave me the correct server address. After being on hold with Verizon
for a half and hour I gave up. Can any one help please? Thanks

You can use VersaMail or Snapper (www.snappermail.com) or Eudora
(http://www.eudora.com/products/unsu...d/internetsuite), etc. to
access the POP server.

It's just a matter of getting all the settings right. Some POP
servers require APOP anthentication, SSL security, port number, etc.
You can either keep trying or get the settings from somebody else
who uses the same server.
