Hi Everybody,
I just signed up with Verizon and got Kyocera KX1v cell phone.
When I dial the number it starts making this silly melodic sound (I
guess it's supposed to let me know that connecting is in progress) Is
there any way to turn it off? I've looked in "Sounds" but somehow I
cannot find the option to get rid of this feature. I'm hoping somebody
more familiar with this phone has some advice...thanks in advance

I have a kx1v also, but mine doesn't do that.

I can't seem to find anything in the menus which might control it. Hope
someone here can help...

Is it possible that the number you are calling has ringback tones activated,
or does it happen on every number that you call?
