I have a Motorola v60i with verizon service. Can anyone tell me how
to transfer a midi file (any random midi tone file) into this phone so
as to use it as a ring tone?

I don't know if this will work with your particular phone, but I have
been able to send ringtone files from my computer to my LG VX6100 via
the web site at http://www.funformobile.com. The web site is free - you may be charged at the phone, according to
your plan.
