Went to store but they said they will not be in till October 1st which
contradicts their 9/26 date. But if anyone has tried this phone in the
store with respect to clarity, range, does speakerphone work when
closed-is it decent, email Pop3 use, keyboard use, can you upload your
own mp3 ringtones like on the 4500, USB port, PC kit, etc..

Thanks, Patty

From what I've read, you can use your own mp3 ringtones on it - and from
what I recall I think it comes with a usb cable as well. Also, it has a
miniSD card for it that you can use to transfer music, etc..

Anyone know how likely it is that an SSH client can be wedged into it?
My Sprint phone just died and I'm desperately looking for a replacement.
It would be worth jumping to this if I can get SSH on it. It doesn't
even support Java, right?

I'm disappointed that the phone won't allow Bluetooth file transfers.
Anything else crippled?

Thank you.
