I am looking for help with a question. I currently am 1 year into a 2
year contract and I have a motorola phone. I want to know if I buy a
different phone off ebay, can I take it to verizon and replace my
current one in use? Will they do that for me? I want to replace the one
I have with one more useful.

Thanks in advance for your help :D

Yup, better get a "more useful" one all-righty. I guess that nasty little
Moto-puppy you have now doesn't make or receive calls most anyplace in the
good old US of A ;-)

Sure. Provided it's compatible with the network (CDMA)
and meets the new FCC e911 requirements and is not
"black listed". Before buying get the ESN (Electronic
Serial Number) and call VZW to ask if it can be activated.
ESNs can be black listed if reported stolen or for non-payment.

Assuming that the phone is eligible to be activated, you can activate it on
the VZW web page.
