Verizon 4-Mode Phone Incl GSM Service

| Can anyone tell me specifics of Verizon plan for domestic plus
International (GSM) service?
If I switch phones to quad-mode phone do I keep my US phone number
when I use in Europe? (Will some one calling me dial my US number and
I receive the call when I'm in Europe or another non-US country?)
I looked on VZW web site but could not find what rates are to
send/receive calls in Europe; anyone know this info (example what are
tiered countries - tier 1, 2, 3, etc.?)
Appreciate any help with this.
