| Who decides if this is a "material" change or not? The service is
awesome but the fees , regardless of how small, and changes in the terms are
getting really old.
Attention Ohio Customers
In February we'll begin collecting a .11 percent surcharge to recover
our cost of an assessment imposed by the OH PUC. It will appear in the
Verizon
Wireless Surcharges section of your bill as OH REG FEE. This Verizon
Wireless charge is
not a tax and is subject to change. Please refer to "Our Rights To Make
Changes" in
your Customer Agreement for information about changes.

| I know. For some reason the msg was in my Outbox again and OE reposted.
I read your msg on the orig posting. Ohio is ridiculous with taxes and our
surrouding states are having a good time attracting our businesses and
families.

According to Steve's post, there hasn't been anything other that Verizon's
statement that this was an attempt to generate more revenue from Ohio
subscribers.
Given how sucessful they've been at addon fees, its not surprising they wouldn't
try another one. I understand the next will be a electrical cost recovery fee,
for the cost of running all those expensive transmitters...
