Can you send MMS directly to other users?

| I am using an XV6700 from Verizon (Pocket PC Phone), and when I send an MMS
message to any other user it sends them a message that I have sent them a
media message and to please go to such and such website to retrieve the
message. Every other phone I have used has not been a PPC, but it has sent
messages fine. I am using all the correct rules as far as image or video
size for MMS, but it always does this whether I send to a regular phone or
another Pocket PC (My girlfriends Treo 700w, which of course does the exact
same thing). Is this just a limitation of Microsoft software/MMS software
from Verizon, or is there a way to send these properly?

I have never had a MMS capable cellphone that could not send MMS content &
be fully received by another MMS capable cellphone. All I've ever had is VZW
for a provider, except for a Tracfone acct I keep active for emergencies.
So it look's as though it's in the XV6700,especially since your g/f's
works,or not in this matter, the same way.

There might be. I have seen some cheesy forums that were simply echoes
of a newsgroup.
