Razr V3M Installation

| Well I'm back... Still can't get my V3M to install properly to the PC.
It keeps coming up with 'new hardware found Motorola V3C" not V3M...
and it will not install the drivers. This is after the Music
essentials installed. The usb modem works fine.
Any help would be appricated. I think there is something wrong with
the phone. I'm gonna be taking it back to the verizon store this
afternoon. And have them look at it.

The odd thing is, a current model RAZR V3m should identify itself as a
"Motorola V3m/K1m/L7c" on Plug-in, which is distinct from the V3c. If
it's identifying itself as a V3c, then the computer will install V3c
drivers for it.

The solution is to reinstall the modem from within Moto Phone Tools, and
select 'V3M'. OTOH, without a seem edit, there's not a lot one can do
to transfer rings, tones, etc, with the proper modem.
The work-around is to register the target phone on vzwpix.com and send
the tone from any phone to the target. When received on the target,
listen to the tone (or view the pic) and save as a ringtone. The charge
is 25cents.
