Hi,
I was given a Plantronics BT320 bluetooth headset as a gift to use with my
Moto V710. Everyone I know with this phone uses a Moro 820 or 850 BT
headset.

Has anyone on the group used the BT320 with a V710? does it work well? Is
there anything I should be concerned about using this headset with my phone?
I could use some guidance based on real world experience.

Thanks,
Jon

Well, did you use the headset yet with your phone?? Seems to me that you're
asking questions about something that you can answer yourself by merely
using the HS with your phone!!

It's a BT headset for crying out loud! What's to be concerned about??
Radiation?? If that's the case, you had better get another phone that
doesn't have BT. Just pair it up with the phone and see how well it works.

Wanted to find out if there were problems with this specific headset before
I opened the package. It came from Verizon and they don't make it easy to
return products.

I was asking for experience with the BT320. You have any?

You have 15 days to return it.
try it, If you don't like it, return it.

I have one that I use with an e815. It works great. It's plenty loud
and people can't seem to tell that I'm using it. It fits into your ear
which helps cut noise and echoes (I don't have any echo issues). The
only thing I don't like about it is that you have to hold the button
down for about 5 seconds to turn it off.

Anthony, Thanks for the feedback. I'll give it a try.

That turn on/turn off hold-down seems to be par for the course, though.
I had a Logitech and have a Scala 500 that work the same way.

I'm not surprised. It's kinda inconsistent in that you only hold it
down for a long time (5-6 seconds) to turn it off. To turn it on, you
only have to do a medium length press. The long press at turn-on
initiates bonding (pairing) IIRC. I'm not real sure on that because I
only had to do that once, and I've slept since then. ;-)

I do like how the Motorola headsets turn off immediately when folded,
but that seems to be there only redeeming quality. I really like my
headset, but the range is a bit short (about 20') for my personal taste.

Finally got a chance to play with the headset yesterday, and I'm really
pleased. Sound quality is excellent and its pretty easy to use. It pairs
with my V710 immediately, too.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have a V710 also and am looking for a good BT headset. Have you
experienced any down side to the 320? Who did you buy from and what was
the cost?

TIA
