LG VX5200 (No Belt Clip?)
|
|
|
| Received my new LG VX5200 from online order and was surprised there was no
belt clip. When I called and checked on this the customer service rep
wasn't immediately sure what piece of equipment I was talking about, but I
was told I could buy one for $4.95.
Does Verizon or the phone manufacture not include this item anymore? The
phone box was enclosed in a Verizon larged sealed plastic bag but the box
itself was not shrink wrapped.

Odd. I've had dozens of handsets (LG, Motorola, Nokia, Sanyo, Audiovox,
others I don't remember off the top of my head) over many years, and not one
of them had a belt clip. I've got the VX5200, and it definitely didn't come
with a belt clip . . . nor did I expect it to. I bought the verizon
essential package off of ebay, which included a car charger, leather case
(with belt clip) and headset. I have no connection to the following
auction, and have never purchased anything from this seller, but I'll
include a link so you can see what I bought. If you buy the same thing from
Verizon, they want like fifty bucks for it, which is outrageous. -Dave

Every phone I ever purchased has come with a plastic belt clip. Ordered two
LG VX6100 last month and both came with it. I'm not talking about the
leather case with belt clip, just the inexpensive plastic one that stays on
your belt when you remove the phone from it.
