No problem, just be sure to tell them you want to cancel based on the terms
of Clause 53b. They'll waive the fee.

You missed the boat by 13 days.

Verizon made a significant change in the terms of service when they
stated that as of Feb 5, 2006, any change in plans extended the term of
the contract for an additional one or two years from the date of the
change. Any use of your contract, making or receiving calls, indicated
your acceptance of the change in terms.

If you had stopped using your family plan before Feb 5, 2006, you might
have argued that this change was a significant alteration of the
contract you signed and took away the ability to change plans without
penalty, and as such you were entitled to terminate the contract
without an ETF.

But those calls you made and received since Feb 5 means you are stuck
with an ETF on all lines.

rediculos!
very cheap and staborn people. I hate Verizon. If you don't have service at
all- we will cancel, if you have very bad service - than you have it. No way
to cancel. I called tonight again, mentioned 6 of Feb. date changes- they
don't know anything about it, or just acting this way. They gave me address
to write all my questions.Drop calls- also not a reason to cancel service.
They promise to fix problem every time, go to the store, check your fone,
replace it, call back again and so on...

What is rediculous is people who sign contracts without reading them,
and then complain because they can't get out of them.

One of many things I find ridiculous is the huge number of people who spell
"ridiculous" with an "e."

(But you at least put in the second "u," which is better than Demitri.)

You'd be surprised as to how many people feel the same way. Read what's
available before you sign or buy anything. If you don't, you have no reason
to XXXXX about it later.

How long have you had the service and when did your problems begin?
