Verizon coverage in Tempe

| I'm looking to move to Tempe in about a week. Phone will be use there and
Scottsdale primarily. Any problems with dropped calls or coverage?
How is Alltel in this regard? Some reviews I read complained of call drops
with them in the Phoenix area.

Used a vzw phone there two years ago with no problems.
Tempe is part of greater Phoenix area.
BTW it will be 100 plus in about 2 months.

BTW, if you use your phone for Internet access, Tempe is in one of the
few dozen Verizon Broadband areas around the country.

Was there last May for a few weeks (and going again this year) from
Sedona to Tempe etc. just like at home PERFECT COVERAGE

Coverage is great. Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale/Greater Phoenix Area is an
EVDO market and has great coverage across the valley. If you drive up
to the NW part of the state (Havasu, Kingman, etc) you will run into
large pockets of analog only. But the Phx Metro area is fine.

| Dave,
Tempe has good coverage from all providers. However, both Verizon and
Alltel are at the top of the list. If either carrier has 'call drops' it is
not in town.
