I'm in the process of switching over to Verizon and need to pick a new
phone. What I would like is excellent reception and clam shell for front
pocket. It does not have to have to be fancy with camera and all kinds of
stuff on it.

Thanks,
Z

I would recommend the Motorola V276 or for a little more money the
Motrola E815. Both of these phones have excellent reputations among
users posting to this and the Howard Forums. They are probably the
best as far as reception goes. The new Motorola V325 has a bigger
screen than the 276, will also have excellent reception and can use
Verizon's new GPS system.

You can compare them here

Once you've done a little research, it would behoove you to take
a trip to your local Verizon store.

While lots of phones look good on paper, personal preference on
button layout, screen clarity, general "feel" of the phone, etc.
are *huge* factors that one needs to take into account.

There is no "best phone!" <g>

No doubt I will be going to the Verizon store to look at the phones, so far
I'm liking the V325, hope it goes great in the front pocket :)
