Technically, you can use the voice recorder to record anything.

Technically, you can preview ringtones without paying.

Is it possible to use the voice recorder to record the ringtone and assign
it without paying the Get It NowT?

"For free"is bad English. You get something free, or for nothing, but not
"for free."

There are many idioms that are in fact poor form. I am not an English
teacher, but I am educated, and I'm grateful that the teachers I studied
with in school taught proper me proper English. And I went to public
school...it was all for free

This is why it isn't good form to correct others in a casual,
conversational, atmosphere. If you keep biting the dog, sooner or later,
she'll bite you back.
