Is there anything like a phone directory for cell phones? Is there
anything I should do to protect privacy/identity when using a cell phone?

When you make a call your number is shown to the other person. You can call
CS and they will turn it on.
This way when you call someone it will show private. Your number will not be
shown.

Same here!

When I see <private> I simply press the "Ignore" button.

You can also do it on a per call basis via the menu.At least on the V325
anyway. Then again you can do the same with landline phones.

But,as another guy posted, alot of people will not accept "private" calls.
