So I get my brand new a840 worldphone. I already have Motorola Phone
Tools on my PC, so I figure it will be easy to upload to it.

Much to my chagrin, the multimedia studio option doesn't show up. It does
on my Vodafone UK phone, my Cellular One Alaska phone, and my girlfriend's
T-Mobile phone. Grumble, they disabled it.

So I buy one a TransFlash card, and the phone format it, and start to load
it with files. OK, that all looks good. It happily allows me to transfer
my photo album to the phone from the card. But although it'll play MP3s
and MIDIs from the card, it won't let me transfer them to the phone.

Grumble. I can't even set my alarm clock to a sound file on the card.

So...it seems that they want their pound of flesh for a ringtone. Do they
have a service where I can upload the MP3 I want and then download it into
the phone?
