Which Service & Phone

| I have a friend who wants to get a wireless phone. She divides her time
between Greenwich, CT, East Hampton (Long Island), and the country of
Lithuania. She'd like a phone that she can use in all three places and
New York City. Can Verizon handle this or would a different carrier be
a better choice? Also, which phone make and model would serve her best.
She'd like one with buttons that are easy to read and with a display
that's easy to read. Doesn't need or want a camera built-in.
Thanks.

You should get more detailed and better replies soon, but Vz is probably
not gonna be the carrier cause they use CDMA and Europe does not.
