Replace land line with cellphone: Dock-N-Talk, Cellmerge, CellSocket, Celldock

| I have heard a lot about the technology to use a cellphone to replace
the land line. The four names I have heard are in the subject line.
Dock-N-Talk seems the most popular at about $140 to $200 (Bluetooth).
The problem is I have not found it for sale from a recognizable source
such as Best Buy, Circuit City or even the better known on-line stores.
Also, I have seen the technology come on strong about 3 to 5 years
ago, and die somewhat in the last couple of years. I have a Motorola
E815 and find that most of the supported phones are older models. The
E815 is supported by the Bluetooth models, but not direct connect.
Has anyone bought one of these in the last year? I can transfer my
home number to a 3rd cellphone. That would allow me to have the 2 I
presently have with Verizon and a 3rd that would be the "land line"
phone. Has anyone done this?

I use the Dock-N-Talk with the E815 and the bluetooth module they
sell, it works fantastic, had it for 6 months now; dropped the
landline long ago in favor of this setup. I bought it directly from
them on the web, like most other products I buy, don't need best buy
much these days, over priced, limited options.
Though you can get a panasonic phone from best buy that has it
built-in, but then you are stuck using their handsets.
I have Dock-N-Talk feeding 2 standard landline "wired phones" and 8
AT&T 5.8ghz wireless phones (the at&t 5.8ghz are actually made by
vtech), nobody knows the difference.
Go for it, you'll never look back!

What are the advantages of a dock for your cell? I have had no landline for
3+ years and have gotten by just fine without one.
