| This morning I turned on my V3C from Verizon and the dates are showing a
totally different month and date than what it actually is. Haven't been able
to find the place to manually set the time on this phone yet.

| Yes I did. Even the people at Verizon did the on off, battery off, *228 and
then decided to replace the phone at N/C. However because I have a V3C and
asked to get a V3M I have to wait for them to get some warranty replacements
in and they will swap it out at N/C

Rod,
Do you know if other Verizon phones are behaving similarly, or are they
showing the correct time in the same areas?
The time on these phones are set by the network. So, if a cell site has
its clock set incorrectly, ALL phones in that sector are going to show
the wrong date/time. Unfortunately, there's not much a user can do
about it, because most CDMA handsets are designed to display ONLY the
time that the network has set them for. The exceptions are smartphones,
which can often be set to ignore the date/time coming from the network,
and some Nokia handsets.
Of course, sometimes handsets don't get or ignore any time updates from
the network, in which case it IS a handset problem. But that tends to
be rare.

| I have two other phones on the Verizon system and both of them show the
correct time and date. My phone now shows
Feb 09 2:33pm
Seems to be going backwards
The time seems to be correct
And when I go into the world clock part it shows the correct date and time,
so it has to be a software issue on this phone
