G-d, talk about a useless feature on Verizon, they charge $1 a month to
let callers to your phone listen to poor quality classical music while
the call is being connected, and it's always the same tune. It's really
annoying.

Do I correctly assume that you're paying the $1.00 per month?

Agreed. I've told my sister that I will no longer call her mobile until she
figures out how to get that crap turned off.

No, one of the people I called most often had this feature. She finally
got through to Verizon customer service to get it turned off. They
didn't tell her that there was a fee for it, and they enabled it when
she got a new phone and renewed her contract.

Opting-out seems to be a devious little trick that many companies are using.
