| Can anybody who uses it explain how Verizon wireless sync works. Do you
need to install something on your PC and the PPC? Is there a plan to allow
only wireless sync for a reduced rate compared to limited or unlimited data?
Anything you can tell me about it would be helpful, thanks.

| We have the Q configured for VZW's wireless sync. This is
owned by the vice president of the company that I work for.
Yes, you have to install a client on a desktop PC that must
be on all the time to directly push/pull new messages to the
VZW wireless sync server.
The vice president subscribed to the unlimited data. Well,
if you don't I think you will incur a huge data charges because
if you do wireless sync, your device will continuously check
for changes in your mailbox.
Do you plan to sync to an Exchange server?

| No I only plan on using my home computer. Problem is at the moment I have
Outlook set up with two profiles, and when Active Sync hooks up to my PPC
directly to my computer (USB) it asks which profile I will use to sync. I
wonder how this would work remotely using the Wireless Sync software.
Also, I have another phone that has an unlimited plan. Is there a seperate
charge for Wireless Sync to use with my data plan, or is it included?

| Well, I can't help you with your 2-profile Outlook.
On the data plan question. Wireless sync uses your data plan.
If you have the unlimited data plan, then you will have no limit
on how many times, or how much data, you do wireless sync.
But I've read somewhere that unlimited won't be unlimited
anymore. True or not, I'm not sure.
