Anyone heard rumors about the next update to the Treo 700W or alternative

| Hi all,
I was very interested in consolidating all of my devices down to the
Treo 700W through Verizon. Currently I carry an iPAQ HX4705, a Treo
650 (company issues with Goodlink for company email access) a pager
and a Motorola Razr V3C. I have been a heavy Pocket PC user for quite
some time and switching back to the Palm OS is not an option for me
due to years and years of files, pdfs, reference materials in PPC
format and a high comfort level with Pocket Informant.
I was recently considering a Treo 700W because I can install all of my
cuurent software, files, etc, but I may decide to wait for the next
installment of this device. I am not very happy with the limited
amount of memory and lower resolution screen.
Has anyone hear any rumors as to when Palm/Verizon may be launching
another version of the Treo with the Windows OS, but with more memory
and a better resolution screen that is a touch screen?
I would also be interested in any suggestions of upcoming alterenative
devices through Verizon.
Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,
Steve B.

I agree with George. I ruled out the motorola Q for similar reasons
and more....Such as OS/Pocket Word and Pocket Excel not allowing
editing of docs, just allows viewing.
Thanks in advance!!!

| Hi Steve,
you can already now get from Verizon 3 other Pocket PC devices:
Samsung SCH-i730 (PPC 2003)
XV6600 (PPC 2003)
XV6700 (WM 5.0)
vzwshop.com/windowsmobile
They have much better resolution. But also heavier, so you need to check if
they suit you.
