Just got a new VX8300 and love it.

So far everything has worked great, but a bluetooth file transfer is
blocked.
LG has informed me that this was done specifically for Verizon at their
request.
Does anyone know how to re enable this forbidden feature?

How about transferring files via Bluetooth Serial Port.

Wait until there is a BitPim update.
www.howardforums.com go to the Verizon forum and then to the LG sub-forum

Transferring files via Bluetooth Serial Port and BitPim does work with
the VX8300. Though as it is not yet officially supported by BitPim,
transfers can only be made via the file system method.
