i am a recent convertee to osx (from xp) and while i am not a heavy
user of tethered use- while on summer vacation (visiting relatives who
have no internet at all in florida) sometimes want to tether up

while i was on a xp laptop i was able to use pdanet with great success

now that i am on osx i am trying to use wirelessmodem from
notifymail.com but something is not working right (i am not getting a
connection from the macbook to the treo) and while i still have 12 days
left of my demo i would like to get this working so that i can see if
it is worth the $35 price. If i have to install boot camp to get
pdanet to work i will but i really want to leave xp behind

i am *not* necessarily asking how to avoid vzw charges.. i am on their
all you can eat data plan

i am just interested on the settings..

thanks in advance
