As a Verizon customer, my contract runs out at the end of the year.
Wanting to pair (via BT) the new phone with my PDA for modem usage, I'm
going to go the Bluetooth route when my New Every Two comes up.
I'm currently looking at either the Motorola E815 (now discontinued, or
about to be) or the new LG VX-8300.
What are people's experiences with these phones, especially with pairing
them with a computer and/or PDA and using the phones as modems completely
wirelessly? I currently have a Palm 5-based Sony Clie.
Feel free to email me directly of your personal opinion of those models
for their other features, too, or other models from Verizon (current or
upcoming).
My phone needs, overall, are:
- Speakerphone
- Signal availability (can be relative to area I'm in, etc)
- Data/modem capable (via BT)
- Analog would be nice, but not necessary
- Other party can hear me cleany/clearly (speakerphone on or off)
- No dropped calls if strong signal and charged battery at least on my end
Thanks.

Rich:
I don't argue phonescoop as a referral page, but I solicited this
newsgroup for other people's responses. I could easily have also gone to
hofo, and maybe I did.
Thanks.
