My E815 apparently isn't able to work with this new
navigation/directions app that Verizon is touting, but I'm wondering if
the app is any good. I've got a GPS module that I use with my PDA in
the car, and it's been utterly useful most of the time (like driving
two drunk out-of-towners back to their hotel when they kept telling me
the wrong intersections...fun!), but if the Verizon app is functionally
worthwhile, maybe I'll upgrade to a smartphone in a year or two and go
with that.

Check Verizonwireless.howardforums.com (Howard Forums)

Several posts regarding Verizon Navigator, and most seem to like it.

VZ Navigator is great. I get around faster than a Nigger skating through a
Klan Meeting!

I have a free trial of the navigator app with my VX8300 and
I am really impressed how well it works.

Note however, that I have nothing else to compare it to, haven't
use anything like this before.

Real men get directions by stopping and asking after their wives badger them
into doing so...
