Did you see the offer?
|
|
|
| Today I received an offer from Sprint for service members and their
dependents to incl the Coast Guard and National Guard also and
retirees of the 1st month free and 15% off on monthly bills plus a
good discount of $150 plus a $40 mail in rebate on three of their
phones. Offer ends on 1-26-08. Just passing it on for information,
and no I have no interest in the Sprint Phone company. Worth checking
if you have considered changing providers. As far as I know this is
the first company recognizing service members with a discount. If not
I am sure someone will tell me who else is.

| Hi Jon
Will check that out, since I am retired though it might not be
available but Sprint did mention retirees so that is another reason I
posted it. Thanks for such a speedy reply.

Retired military discount on the monthly plan? I'll try and find it on
the Verizon site.

AT&T has discounts for military, federal civil service and their retirees.
I don't remember what the discount is, but continues for the life of your
account. All cell phone providers probably have some sort of discount for
military and retired military.

Verizon has a discount for state employees here...the catch is that the
ETF fee is always in effect so when you stop service you pay the fee
regardless of how long you've had the phone. Now I guess if you keep it
long enough....
