VX8600: upload mp3 to microSD card via bluetooth

I have my LG VX8600 w/1GB microSD card paired with my MacBook Pro and
I'm trying to figure out how to upload an mp3 to the card via bluetooth
(I have a microSD drive on order but I'd like to upload a couple of
songs today or tomorrow if possible).

I tried Bluetooth File Exchange but it only sees the on-board memory,
not the card.

BitPim shows the card memory in the directory listings under mmc1, and I
can download from it -- I tested this by taking a picture with the phone
and storing it on the card. But upload always fails a small percentage
of the way through.

Am I sol until the microSD drive arrives, or is there some other way to
do this?
