| Dear group: Sorry for the duplicate posting and thanks for all replies.
I heard that this phone uses the 3gp video format so native wmv, avi, and qt
files will not work unless they are converted.
Is there a free converter that anyone can recommend? I bought the USB cable
and Transfer software kit for this phone from Datapilot. Can this be used
for mp3and vids?
Can the Bitpim program be used with the USB cable from Datapilot or must a
separate one be purchased? I also have a SanDisk 1 GB microSD in the phone
and a SanDisk microSD/transflash adapter that everyone says works with mp3s
and vids Anyone had success with this.
Finally (I'll bet you're glad)-I tried the menu plus zeros trick but there
is no mp3 entry at number 11-says not available. Help!
Thanks again-for your patience. maven

If you don't have the option to enable the MP3 player, that means you
have a newer version of the firmware and that it is already able to play
MP3s. For converting videos check out http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net
