Company pays for education with the agreement of the employee that they
will stay there for x years. Employee voluntary leaves early and
company wants some money back. Note that it doesn't apply if the
company fires/layoffs the employee.

The web site referred to is for all Verizon employee separations.
Obviously some aspects don't apply to involuntary separations.
