I can access test mode fine but need help in interpreting the displayed
information. I am trying to determine the actual signal strength (db)
outside my home prior to selecting a cell booster antenna and amplifier.

When I first enter test mode the following is displayed:

420 125 1 19C425
504 145 0 IDL NI
98HN/A 00.00 0
0 6 6X 0

Can anyone interpret this for me? Supposedly signal strength is on the
third line down but I don't see anything indicating signal strength.

The phone is a Moto V710/carrier is Verizon.

Wilson has 'em all. 98 = -98dbm signal level. Not great, but it'll
connect at that little signal. 00.00 is the error rate, but you are IDL
(not connected, idle) so it will always read 00.00 that way. The bottom
numbers are which system you are on and that system's features. 420 and
504 are the pilot channel and current channel, respectivly. 125 and 145
are those channel's signal quality, of sorts. I forget what the rest mean,
see the website for any phone series.
