| If I've had my Cardo Scala 700 headset turned off and then turn it back
on, often my Treo 700W's display will light up, indicating that it has
recognized its little Bluetoothed friend. So you'd think that it would
continue to work with it, redialing the last number dialed when I press
the headset's wheel, or piping the next call through the earpiece. But
no. Only sometimes. Other times, I have to try all kinds of
things--going into the Wireless Manager to stop and start the Bluetooth
service on the phone, or going into the Bluetooth applet to reindicate
that, yes, I want the Scala to be my Bluetooth device. Sometimes these
things work, sometimes they don't. Sometimes turning the headset back
off and turning it back on works. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I've
resorted to resetting the phone, which is dumb, and also a pain
considering I have to remove the rubber case first. I can't figure out
one single approach that will work consistently.
Any insights?
