Would you update from older plan (able to roam) to newer plan (no roaming)

| I am currently on the older plan pre 2-05 with roaming capabilities.
Do you loose much with the new plan & no roaming ?
Thanks

| I suppose it depends. However, I've done it. I live in the West (Denver)
where this is much less coverage than in the East and I haven't noticed any
difference.

We kept the old plan because under the new plan there are areas in which
you get no service (except 911) with the new plan, while you could get
roaming service in those areas under the old plan.
In almost five years of continuous travel around the US, though, I don't
think we have spent two days in roaming areas in the Lower 48.
