Author 'My Sounds' to ring tone on new LG-VX8700

Greetings from the Green Mountain State of Vermont. Home of 100% pure maple
syrup and real cows.

Question: I have just purchased a new LG VX8700 Verizon wireless phone.
The ringtones are not so good. The phone is great, the screen is great, but
the ring tones need work. I am creating my own ring tone, but the phone
stores it in 'my sounds'. How can I transfer it to a ringtone. There is
probably an easy solution, but I don't know what it is.

Thanks for any help.

Well, then you'd be of absolutely NO interest to McDonalds, they use
only 100% synthetic beef made from petroleum by-products.

Don't know, but see if there's any help here:

http://www.howardforums.com

I recommend you select the Verizon forum and then the LG subforum, then
the VX8700 forum, there's about 8 or 9 pages to search through, good
luck!

NOTE: You can browse the forums w/o registering, you need to register
only to post a question or to use the search feature. Registration is
painless, they ask only a user name (can be madeup) and a valid email
address (can be a throwaway such as Yahoo or Hotmail.) If you decide
to register you can search for "ringtones".
