Author Headset Impedance Parameters for a typical cellphone

Can anyone tell me the impedance specifications for a typical cellphone? =
=20
I'm interested in obtaining a "high-quality" headset from Sennheiser =3D3F=
=20
one that's not specifically intended for use with cellphones. But I=20
wonder if it will work reasonably well with a cellphone anyway. Their=20
fact sheet on it . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/pdfs/HMD280.pdf
.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
lists the following nominal impedance values:
headphone: 300 Ohms
microphone: 200 Ohms (dynamic, supercardioid)

I've already spoken with Sennheiser from whom I've received conflicting=20
information. So, I thought I'd run this by you, in hopes that someone=20
might take a look and offer an informed opinion.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

BACKGROUND: I'm about to embark on a new career as a trucker and a=20
crucial piece of equipment will be a good mobile phone headset. Because=20
of engine and road noise I'd like to get one with an over-the-ear=20
headphone and a high-quality uni-directional boom mic.

Thanks.

Can't say for sure on the impedence q, however I have one (tried a bunch -
about 6 - till I found one that works)... Is basically a headset with a mic,
works on both the phone (with an adapter) and on my laptops sound card, on
my cordless phone, and on my PDA.... Got a bit crazy with Duct tape and hot
glue and put stereo headphones on it so I could use it with my Ipod and MP3
player too.. For me it was easier to plug in to different devices than
change headsets (I wear glasses, they tend to come off)
